God's Love
Gods Love: Romans 8: 35
A small sentence in a verse in the whole Bible that gives us Paul's words on Christ. It starts with “Can anything separate us from the love of Christ."
These days in our world there is trouble in most parts. From wars, fires, earthquakes, greed and pure evil. Here at St. Christopher’s, we gather and thank God for his protection. We have this plot of land that has been with God since around 1909. This space was blessed in God’s name, and has been used for his purpose since. While we are proud to have the facilities here that we can call our worldly home of faith. We also know that our Lord Jesus is with us when we are not here, he watches over us as we go out into our world telling of his love.
Mark and I regularly head from our home, turn into Redwood Street, and come up to St. Christopher’s. Our worries on the way up seem little as we near our spiritual home, and we thank God for His care of us. I hope others feel this way as well. It is a comfort to be one of Jesus' Disciples in the world, and here in New Zealand we are able to profess our faith with impunity.
We pray for the world and its troubles and give hope, love and charity to others as our faith directs us. We feel safe in our spiritual home here and enjoy the company of you all in our Christian Faith.
God Bless you all.
