Announcement of Appointment to Blenheim South Parish

Dear Church Family,

On behalf of Bishop Steve Maina, the Warden’s made the following announcement at both services yesterday:

‘I am delighted to announce the appointment of Nigel Irwin as Minister-in-Charge of Blenheim South Parish. Nigel will begin this ministry on 7 June 2026. We give thanks to God for this new chapter in the life of Blenheim South and look forward to the leadership and guidance that Nigel will bring to the parish. In accepting this appointment, Nigel is returning to both his Anglican and South Island origins. The discernment journey for ordination will happen once he has settled into the role.

Please be praying for Nigel as he prepares for his move from Whanganui to Blenheim South, and may we warmly welcome him to the parish and the Regional Deanery of Marlborough.
