The Five Gospels

There are five Gospels -

This came up on my Facebook feed the other day and it got me thinking………

Did you know there are five gospels in the Bible!!!

I’m sure you have heard of the first four, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

Written in ink, preserved on pages, telling the story of a Saviour who healed the sick, raised the dead, carried the cross, and walked out of a grave.

But the fifth Gospel, it’s not bound in leather, it’s written in Flesh and Bone.

IT’S YOU.

Every single day, people read you. They watch how you react when you’re disrespected. They listen to how you speak about other people. They notice how you handle pressure, money, temptation, and loss. They are forming their theology, observing your life.

If you say you follow Jesus, then your                                              

Patience preaches. Your Integrity Preaches. Your Forgiveness and Your Humility Preach. And so does your Hypocrisy.

You are a walking sermon, a living letter, a reflection, whether clear or distorted.

When you love the difficult person, they see Christ.

When you refuse to gossip, they see Holiness.

When you admit you’re wrong, they see Humility.

When you endure suffering without bitterness, they see the Cross.

You might never stand behind a pulpit, you may never write a book, But you are being read every day. And most people never pick up a Bible, But they do read YOU. Make sure when they open you, they see Jesus.
