VICAR
Rev Dr Deo Vistar
deo@stchristophers.co.nz
My name is Deo Vistar and I am privileged to serve as vicar at St Christopher’s. I have been married to my wife, Guan, for over 10 years and we have been blessed with two lovely children. I love the pastoral, preaching and teaching work of the ministry and would not exchange it for anything else! My aim in preaching is to explain the Bible, making it clear, so that not just adults but also children and young people can understand God’s Word. I also enjoy teaching the Bible to individuals and groups. I am an adjunct New Testament lecturer at the Global Reformed University and Theological Seminary in Tuguegarao in Northern Philippines.
In my pastoral ministry I regularly visit members of the church and am glad to be involved in people’s lives. I am committed to seeing St Christopher’s Church grow in love and unity in Christ. My wife and I count it a blessing to be here and are thankful to God for all His goodness to us in every way.
