St Christopher’s ElderCare programme is designed to meet some of the needs of the elderly in our community. We run two regular programmes (Tech-Talk-Teach and Keeping U Moving) every Thursday except the 4th Thursday of the month. On the 4th Thursday of the month we break from our regular activities to run special seminars for the elderly.
Tech-Talk-Teach aims to help the elderly use technology to communicate with friends and family using the internet. This enhances their lives by reducing lonliness and the feeling of isolation.
Book a place to learn how to use your mobile and iPad. Bookings are essential - 021 223 0160 . Cost $2.
Keeping U Moving
Keeping U Moving aims to maintain and increase mobility, fitness and balance by offering a walking programme where walkers can keep track of their progress as they walk around the hall to music.
